I Tagged Her in My Heart
Author: Anuj Tiwari

‘I Tagged Her in My Heart’ is a story about 4 friends Arjun, Adrika, Ved and Anushka and the unbreakable bond that they share and how they are there for each other through thick and thin and how Arjun is there for everybody whenever somebody is in trouble or if some of his friends needs any help. Arjun is the one person who is there for everybody.

The story is about Adrika who is an independent girl who is in love with Sumrit. But things don’t go well between them and Adrika is left heartbroken and goes into depression but the gang of friends come up together and help her come out of depression. Soon, Adrika is confident and her friends have encouraged her to do something that she’ll be happy and will help her come out of the depression and keep her engaged. Soon Adrika and Arjun are set on a mission to achieve something in life. What is it? To know more read I Tagged Her in My Heart

The characters are relatable and we get to see the true friendship between them. They all are there for each other at any point of time when they need each other. Arjun is the limelight of the group if there's anybody who is there during his friend's trouble it has to be Arjun. I loved the chemistry that Arjun and Anushka share with each other and how they help Adrika over come her heartbreak and she overcomes all the negativity in her life and concentrates on her career.

The pace of the book is very slow the plot moves ahead after 150 pages. Love is the integral part of the story but the plot is all about the friendship that Arjun shares with his friends. I wish something would have happened when Adrika receives a note from some unknown person during her journey but nothing happens.  Overall it is a good book but could have been better. I loved the quotes the author has used in the book they have a message for everyone.

Favourite Lines from the book:

  • ·         A saviour friend in need is a forever friend indeed

  • ·         Few relationships are not defined by time because they grow with the moments we spend with the person, not with time.
  • ·         Many times in life, what you like and what you do not, do not decide other’s happiness; rather, your happiness lies in others’ contentment.
  • ·         The more you think about negative things and run away from pain, they come back in the same form and hurt more. You have to play with your mind before it weakens you emotionally.
  • ·         Trust your instincts and your own ability to gauge a situation.
  • ·         To be a contributor to your family, work and community, think in terms of ‘we’ instead of ‘I’.
  • ·         Feelings may fade and people may lose interest, but always remember that life goes on and you can only grow from having your heart broken.
  • ·         If your intentions are genuine, if your feelings are real, and if your heart is in the right place, then it is never a waste of time because you shouldn’t regret something that once made you happy. So whatever happened, do not doubt on yourself.’
